REASONS TO CELEBRATE

Hey everyone,

Is it just me or time passes by too quick? It’s Saturday, a special one. Happy Easter guys, this isn’t the only reason we should be celebrating, well yeah…it sure is one of them but my point is that life is amazing and we should not only gather together and celebrate it on special occasions, we should do it every single day.

Why am I writing this right now? Oh well, because I remember when I shot these pictures. I was so excited for them to come out and now they did. I couldn’t wait to post them but I also enjoyed the process. I started to enjoy the process. The process of waiting, being patient. This isn’t about photos, it’s about life itself. In all its meanings. Feel me?!

It’s also Spring, probably my favorite season. Well, not really but it’s cool hahah.

Don’t flowers make you happy? They always bloom into something big and wonderful and colorful. They also smell great & even when their time passes they still remain beautiful.

This was the the idea of the shoot in the first place. We had to do it for Lucy’s Magazine and I thought that the best theme for it should be fresh flowers and dry flowers. Maybe because they show every side of the story and still find beauty in every part. Like we should always do. I love it when natures inspires, sometimes it can be hard to find inspiration.

Art comes from the inside and then it goes out, this is how it worked out this time. Thank you so much Amalia Gaita for one of the best shoots ever.

No, this has nothing to do with the famous series Orange is the new Black; I just thought it would fit. So, let’s take it like this: you have an important event to attend, you find out one hour before, you don’t really have many choices to choose from. What do you do? How do you make a cool impression just like that? Well, just like that! You don’t need many clothes on you to make the look complete. In my case, I only used 5 (counting the accessories too)

Steps:

add a glimpse of color with a matchy matchy pair of shoes & a bag
put on a denim jacket, dress,sweater (something simple but chic) also long enough so you won’t need pants
choose something that will make your outfit unforgettable, in my case the big orange faux fur
take your favorite pair of earrings
put your attitude on(& if you’re not in the mood choose a crazy hairstyle like I did)

Also, wanna know how I created this hairstyle? Simple. (well this time I didn’t do it but I swear you can do it on your own lol).

First you have to curl your hair with an iron, preferably and then you’ll need many many bobby pins, you’re simply going to add many of them until you fix your hair the way you want it to stay. (p.s add a lot of hairspray)

So, this is how you create a complete funky,chic, creative kinda look in which I can assure you, you’ll impress. BUT, do not dress to impress. Do it for YOU.
